This Smart Home stuff is really cool, but I just don’t understand how they works together. I don’t know think I can even sell any of this to a customer. Well, most of the time, a customer is only looking for a single product. There are basically only two questions you have to ask a customer when talking about Smart Home products.
One, do you have a smartphone? Everything in personal finance can be distilled to the three basic principles. So number … And two, do you know or can you find yourhome’s Wi-Fi password? That’s it?!? That’s it. You don’t need to be a techie to figure this stuff out. You just plug inthe device and follow some basic instructions.
Now, depending on the product or app, theremight be another couple of steps, but nothing too tough. Simple enough! If your customers know how to use a smartphone, they should be able to figure it out pretty quickly. All right, today I’m going to show you how to, it’s called burping the radiator, or the cooling … From lights, cameras, garage automation, irrigation control, thermometers, to the smoke detectors. Smart Home products really help our customers save time and money, and protect their home. Okay, why don’t you help out this customer. I’ll be right here if you need my help.
Oh, and read the packaging for features and benefits. You got it! Uh…OK. Here I go. Hi there! How can I help you today? Hi, I need a new smoke alarm and I’ve seen the ads for the Nest Protect?
It’s right here. It detects carbon monoxide as well. You can also set it up to send youan alert if it goes off. Yeah I’ve heard about that. I like that, because I’m always worried my kids mightleave something on the stove when I’m not around! Well, would you like to also see what’s going on at home through your smartphone?? Sure!
Then add a Nest Cam. You can access the camera to see what’s going on. You can even talkback and forth to your kids through the camera. Is it hard to set up? All you need is your smart phone and the password to your Wi-Fi network. Plug in the product, download the app, and follow the on-screen instructions. It’s the home of the future.it just makes your life easierOK, great!
I’ll try these out. Thanks for shopping at The Home Depot! That seemed to go well. You know, it did. It’s not as tough as I thought. Good! Because the Smart Home is becoming more and more common and we’re going to sella lot of these products!
